The South Devon Railway Ruston Shunter

This is an 0-4-0 diesel hydraulic shunter which uses a single cylinder hand cranked donkey engine with integral air compressor  to start the main engine - batteries not included !
Below is a picture of its first real working trip, moving Ex GWR dining coach number 250 around the yard.
